http://www.enoa-community.com/community/The idea of creating a network of European opera academies came up in May 2009, when five of the present members discussed the potential benefits of a closer cooperation and dialogue between their institutions. Indeed, opera has always been a very international art form, bringing together the best talent from around the world. And, as European countries grow ever closer politically, economically and culturally, it seemed opportune for musical institutions across Europe to join forces. The idea was welcomed with enthusiasm by institutions we approached: enoa now counts eleven full members and five associated partners and is bound to expand further.
